Introducing the Ballantyne Bolt
The Ballantyne Bolt is an exclusive amenity for campus office customers and Towerview and Oro residents. The Bolt vehicles are 100% electric and emission-free, offering a convenient, eco-friendly and free way to get around the Ballantyne campus. Partnering with Freebee to offer a safety-first approach, drivers are professionally trained.
The Bolt will be available starting April 9 and will run Monday – Friday, 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Introducing The Ballantyne Bolt
1. Download the Freebee app and set up your account.
2. Head to the goBallantyne app, click the Explore tab, and then Ride Bolt.
2. Request a ride and set your pickup and drop-off locations.
3. Show the goBallantyne app to your driver and enjoy the ride.

Route 43 has eight convenient locations throughout the Ballantyne Campus to connect you to your office, apartment or The Bowl.

Three lightrail stops are currently planned throughout the Ballantyne campus as part of the Lynx blue line extension in the City of Charlotte's 2030 Transit Corridor System plan.
Currently, the LYNX Blue Line offers fast, quiet, convenient light-rail service to 15 stations between uptown Charlotte and I-485 at South Blvd. Dozens of bus routes are timed to connect with trains at the Blue Line stations, making it easy to get to work.
