Charlotte’s 15th annual Beer, Bourbon & BBQ Festival is coming to Ballantyne’s Backyard on Saturday, May 21! Enjoy a vast selection of barbeque options, beer and bourbon sampling and live entertainment from noon to 6 p.m. General admission is $42.

August

The Tacos ‘N Taps Festival will transport you south of the border for some foodie fun! Join us for dancing, contests, beers and margaritas on August 20. General admission is $39, including alcoholic drinks, and $25 for dry guests.

September

In conjunction with the Charlotte International Arts Festival, Blumenthal Performing Arts will bring larger-than-life installations to Ballantyne’s Backyard. The city-wide art festival features free and paid public installations in Ballantyne.

October

Join us for Charlotte’s first annual Das Best Oktoberfest on October 15. Oompah bands, German food and a variety of beers will fill Ballantyne’s Backyard from noon to 5 p.m. Purchase a general admission ticket for $42 or a VIP admission for $75.

November

Sip on warming drinks and relax by the fire at the first annual Whiskey, Wine & Fire Festival on November 5! General admission is $59 and includes a souvenir tasting glass, all-you-care-to-taste samples of whiskey and wine, access to food trucks and live entertainment.

The traveling exhibit of animatronic and static dinosaurs, Dinos at 11: The Jurassic Encounter takes over Ballantyne’s Backyard, November 18 – 27. The price of admission for the prehistoric walk-through experience begins at $19. Guests of all ages can explore over 50 true-to-detail dinos, children’s activities and food vendors.

December

The Carolina Holiday Light Spectacular is transforming Ballantyne’s Backyard into a winter wonderland, December 12 – 31. Explore an outdoor walking trail jam-packed with over a million holiday lights, hundreds of Christmas trees and several larger-than-life installations. Admission prices begin at $15 and the event is open to all ages.
