Copain to Bring Authentic Parisian Charm to Ballantyne
Copain Bakery and Provisions will open its third location in late 2025 at The Bowl at Ballantyne.

As the Southeast’s premier boulangerie patisserie, Copain specializes in naturally fermented organic artisan breads, pastries and vienoisserie, coffee and gourmet provisions. This new location represents an evolution of the brand to include a full-service brasserie which will bring a blend of old-world Parisian elegance and elevated hospitality to The Bowl at Ballantyne.

“After the successful opening of our second Copain Bakery location in Winston-Salem, we are elated to crown this new Brasserie location our flagship that will bring guests French cuisine from morning to night,” says Chef Jim Noble, owner of Noble Food & Pursuits. “We envision a place where guests can savor the ambiance of a true French brasserie.”

Copain Bakery & Brasserie will feature traditional French fare, including pastries and artisan breads. Guests can indulge in breakfast favorites such as flaky croissants, quiche, and pain au chocolat, vibrant seasonal salads and Copain loaf sandwiches for lunch, and timeless French dishes like coq au vin, soupe a l’oignon grantinee, pate campagné and moules frites, as well as dry-aged steaks, NC farm-raised oysters, and an extensive list of cheeses and charcuterie for dinner. The brasserie will also boast a carefully curated wine list and full bar. The 3,100 square foot space will offer seating for 102 guests, including a brasserie-style patio.
