The second North Carolina location is set to open this fall at the area's newest shopping, dining and entertainment district, The Bowl at Ballantyne™. Ahead of the opening, The Salty Donut is treating Run! Ballantyne 8K, 5K & Fun Run participants to a tasty preview of their artisanal craft donuts. With The Salty's commitment to incorporating homemade and locally sourced ingredients, the brand aims to foster a deep connection with the South Charlotte community.
The expansion underscores the brand's national acclaim for its inventive flavors and craftsmanship, as recognized by esteemed publications such as Thrillist, Food & Wine, and Tasting Table. Co-founders Amanda Pizarro-Rodriguez and Andy Rodriguez, celebrated for their entrepreneurial vision, have transformed The Salty Donut from a humble pop-up business to a 15-store operation.
